Sky High · Privacy policy

Your data, plainly.

Sky High has no accounts, no logins and no ads. It collects a small amount of technical and gameplay data so I can fix crashes and balance the game. This page explains exactly what, why, and what you can do about it.

Effective date: 7 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Maksym Proskurin, trading as Maksym Proskurin Development (d7d8d9), ul. Wierzbięcice 39/13, 61-558 Poznań, Poland. NIP 9571104915, REGON 522826279.

For anything related to privacy, write to hello@d7d8d9.net.

2. What the game collects

Sky High uses Google Firebase, a set of services provided by Google. Through it, the game collects:

  • Gameplay events, such as when a run starts and ends, how far you got, and which menu buttons you tap (Google Analytics for Firebase).
  • Crash reports: what went wrong, the app version, device model and Android version at the moment of a crash (Firebase Crashlytics).
  • Random app identifiers: an app instance ID and a Firebase installation ID. These are created on your device, can't be used to identify you by name, and are reset if you reinstall the game.
  • Approximate region: Google derives a rough location (country or region) from your connection. The game does not request your precise location.

The game also downloads game settings from Firebase Remote Config, which uses the same app identifiers.

The game does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or advertising ID. There is no in-game chat and no account to sign into.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

This data is used to find and fix crashes, keep the game running on different devices, and understand which parts of the game are too easy, too hard or confusing, so they can be improved. It is never sold and never used for advertising.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): keeping the game working and making it better. You can object at any time, as described in section 6.

4. Who else sees it

Google Ireland Limited processes this data on my behalf as the provider of Firebase. Google may process it in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Google's own terms are at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Nobody else receives it.

5. How long it is kept

Gameplay events are kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Uninstalling the game stops all collection immediately.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to its processing. Because the game holds no name or email, I may ask for details that help me find your data, such as your device model and roughly when you played.

To use any of these rights, email hello@d7d8d9.net. I will reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl, or to the authority in your own EU country.

7. Children

Sky High is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at younger children, and I don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has used the game and you want their data removed, write to me and I'll delete it.

8. Changes

If the game starts collecting anything new (for example, if purchases or ads are ever added), this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date at the top will change.
